New Milford (N.J.) to a 26-12 victory over
Secaucus (N.J.) on Saturday as the return units contributed two touchdowns. The Knights's special teams scored on a kick return and a punt return.
New Milford was up 19-6 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Dante Tobler in the first quarter.
NM saw its 13-point halftime lead fall to seven entering the fourth.
Jl Castellanos played well for the Patriots. The junior running back ran for two touchdowns.
Tobler was the top performer for the Knights. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
Secaucus (1-1) goes up against Harrison in a North Jersey - Liberty game matchup next week, while New Milford (2-0) locks horns with Ridgefield Memorial also in a North Jersey - Liberty game.
