Goose Creek came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Wando Warriors as they made off with a 72-46 victory. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 24 points or more this season.

Wando's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jackson Connelly, who posted nine points. Tait Horine was another key player, putting up ten points.

Goose Creek is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. As for Wando, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
