The Lake Washington Kangaroos will take on the Mount Si Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last four games Lake Washington has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Saturday, Lake Washington needed a bit of extra time to put away Monroe. They had just enough and edged out the Bearcats 3-2. The Kangaroos haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Asher Crossley looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Boden Reeve was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Aidan Mehlberg was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Mount Si entered their tilt with Issaquah on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Eagles.
Jayce Riden looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Taylor Davis, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Talbot, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Mount Si's win bumped their record up to 5-2-1. As for Lake Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
Lake Washington came out on top in a nail-biter against Mount Si in their previous meeting back in March of 2017, sneaking past 2-1. Does Lake Washington have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mount Si turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
