The Noxon Red Devils had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Two Eagle River by a score of 36-29 on Tuesday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Noxon has managed all season.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aereon Miller, who scored four points along with five rebounds.
Noxon's victory bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Two Eagle River, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-12.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing St. Regis the next time they take the court. Two Eagle River will host St. Regis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Noxon will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
