The Christian Ministries Academy Conquerors lost against the Gospel Light Christian Lions back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. Christian Ministries Academy took a serious blow against Gospel Light Christian, falling  61-26. Christian Ministries Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  35-10.
 Despite the  defeat, Christian Ministries Academy saw an underclassman step up:  Madison Garner  scored 15 points. Garner scored a full 57.7% of Christian Ministries Academy's points, the second time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points.
 Christian Ministries Academy has  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Gospel Light Christian,  the  victory  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 9-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Ministries Academy will  face off against Columbia Christian at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Columbia Christian has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 6. As for Gospel Light Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Arkansas Christian Academy at 4:30  p.m.  on December 15th.
