Basketball Recap: HALO Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against HALO, but Trenton Grissom wouldn't allow it. The HALO Wolfpack enjoyed a cozy 64-49 victory over Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy on Tuesday thanks in part to Grissom, who went 16 of 27 on his way to 34 points and seven rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of HALO's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kenneth Haynes, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 18 rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more boards the last 19 times he's played.

HALO has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 35.1% in those games and 28.7% outside of them. As for Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. HALO will challenge Georgia Force Christian on January 17th. As for Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Howard at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
