The Arapahoe Warriors will challenge Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Arapahoe has given up an average of 47.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Arapahoe blew Alma out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Alma got their revenge. The Warriors fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 36-34. The contest was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but the Warriors couldn't quite close it out.
Despite the defeat, Arapahoe got top-tier performance from Briggs Hill, who rushed for 147 yards and two scores on only 13 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Sich, who rushed for 214 yards and one touchdown.

Arapahoe didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hill and Sich. With that strong performance, Sich is now averaging an impressive 101.6 rushing yards per game. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Southern Valley 42-6. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] just coasted through the last quarter.
Arapahoe better keep an eye on Chase Beitler. He was instrumental in Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s win, rushing for 202 yards and four TDs while picking up 12.6 yards per carry. Those 202 rushing yards gave Beitler a new career-high.
This is the second loss in a row for Arapahoe and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood], their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.
Everything came up roses for Arapahoe against Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 51-12 win. In that game, the Warriors amassed a halftime lead of 41-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
