The St. Clair Saints will square off against the Algonac Muskrats at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Clair is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.
St. Clair's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Sterling Heights Stevenson as they made off with a 12-0 victory. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Rylee Schneider, who went 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Maliyah Smith was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
St. Clair was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .378. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sterling Heights Stevenson only posted a batting average of .154.
Meanwhile, Algonac entered their tilt with Almont on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They had just enough and edged out the Raiders 3-1.
Jaycee Reams spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Ava Murray was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs.
St. Clair's victory bumped their record up to 19-5-2. As for Algonac, their win bumped their record up to 13-11-1.
Everything went St. Clair's way against Algonac in their previous matchup back in April, as St. Clair made off with a 12-2 victory. Will the Saints repeat their success, or do the Muskrats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
