The biggest upset of the week belonged to Purchase Line, who took down 455th ranked Marion Center, 28-16.
The Red Dragons moved up to 462 from 491 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Heritage. Purchase Line climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Stingers 28-16.
Scott Fennell threw for 294 yards and 2 touchdowns. He went 14-19 with 0 interceptions.
Fennell put up the best numbers in passing as Ligonier Valley defeated Saltsburg. Fennell's favorite target this week was Alec Bloom, who caught 5 passes for 133 yards.
The Rams' Fennell and Bloom have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Fennell has thrown for 916 yards this season, while Bloom has 26 catches for 476 yards. Lucas Kowalski from Penns Manor leads the league in rushing with 702 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Penns Manor takes on second place Ligonier Valley. Last week, the Comets topped Blairsville, while Ligonier Valley bested the Trojans.
One of Heritage's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when Roger Beitel's team and Penns Manor face off next week.
The league will see a high scoring game when Bill Packer's team and the Rams face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Comets comes in having scored 214 this season, while Ligonier Valley has scored 210. Penns Manor scored 34 points last week as it defeated the Bobcats.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, the Comets beat Blairsville 34-7. The win marks sixth in a row for the Penns Manor.
