Waupun has gone a perfect 4-0 against Mayville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. Waupun is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
Waupun is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Berlin with a sharp 21-0 win on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Landon Richter made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Richter was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with three runs and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

Waupun was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .595. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Mayville faced Campbellsport in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cardinals have suffered since May 8, 2024.
Waupun pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Mayville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
Waupun beat Mayville 9-5 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
