Michael Ramos Jr Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Yucca Valley was led to victory by Michael Ramos Jr, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Ramos Jr rushed for 257 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (114). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

A Season-Best Performance from Ivan Camargo Leads Coachella Valley over Twentynine Palms
Ivan Camargo produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Coachella Valley to the win on Friday. Camargo rushed for 263 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 15.5 yards per carry, and also picked up 45 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
If the past is any indication, Camargo could be in store for another big game when he takes on Yucca Valley on Friday. When Camargo last faced the Trojans back in October of 2023, he rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.

Daniel Jones Has Career Rushing Day
On Friday, Indio had to settle for second even though Daniel Jones put up the best numbers he has all season. Jones rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 190 yards and a touchdown on only 16 passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the year, Jones has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 114.5 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 20.88 passing yards per game.

Aiden Pope Turns in Season-Best Performance
Yucca Valley was led to victory by Aiden Pope, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Pope rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards.
For the year, Pope has averaged 40.1 receiving yards per game.
