Beau Chene had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over V.B. Glencoe Charter. Beau Chene might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

Ava Hargroder made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hargroder was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

In other batting news, Jailah Rideau was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kadie Daigrepont, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Beau Chene was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .643. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .382 or higher in four consecutive games.

Beau Chene pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for V.B. Glencoe Charter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
