On Friday, Seaforth strolled past Southeast Raleigh with points to spare, taking the game 57-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Seaforth.
Seaforth was led to victory by Gabby White and Katie Leonoard. White scored 22 points along with 6 rebounds, while Leonoard scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which White has scored at least 25% of Seaforth's points. Another player making a difference was Hannah Ajayi, who scored 8 points.
Seaforth's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Southeast Raleigh, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seaforth will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Grace Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Southeast Raleigh, they will head out on the road to face off against Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Heritage focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Friday.
