Parkview Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Abby Carlyle, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Carlyle has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Howard, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Kankakee Trinity Academy's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.9 points per game. As for Parkview Christian Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.
