The Mt. Enterprise Wildcats lost against the Gary Bobcats back in February of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Mt. Enterprise received a tough blow as they fell 59-44 to Gary. Mt. Enterprise has not had much luck with Gary recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Mt. Enterprise saw an underclassman step up: Kaegan Ash scored 24 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Ash scored a full 54.5% of Mt. Enterprise's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Max Garvin, who scored 8 points.
Mt. Enterprise's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Gary, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Mt. Enterprise will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Joaquin at 1:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Gary, they will take on Martinsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
