 Gracie Homier made a big impact no matter where she played. She  struck out ten batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and four unearned) runs off   four  hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts any time she's  pitched this season. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  triple. That  home run marked the first that  she  launched this season.
 In other batting news,  Maeci Dockery was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI. That  triple was  her first of the season.  Cassie Pier was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and one  RBI.
The  victory  got Continental back to even at 3-3. As for Lima Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Looking ahead, Continental will head out to  face off against Ottoville  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Pirates are facing the Big Green at the right time seeing as the Big Green are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Lima Central Catholic, they will square off against Pandora-Gilboa at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
