Palisades Park/Leonia found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-28 punch to the gut against Garfield last Friday. Palisades Park/Leonia were down by 0-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Lodi were able to grind out a solid win over Becton, winning 35-24. The success made it back-to-back wins for Lodi.
Lodi's victory lifted them to 2-2 while Palisades Park/Leonia's loss dropped them down to 0-4. We'll find out if Lodi can add another positive mark to their record or if Palisades Park/Leonia can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Lodi's step.
