On Friday, Scripps Ranch are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Fallbrook at Fallbrook HS at 4:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-39, which was the final score in Scripps Ranch's tilt against Del Norte last Friday.
Meanwhile, everything went Fallbrook's way against Sweetwater last week as they made off with a 30-0 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.
Fallbrook's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Scripps Ranch's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Fallbrook can add another positive mark to their record or if Scripps Ranch can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Fallbrook's step.
