Eunice lost to Westlake back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Bobcats were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Rams. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Eunice's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Westlake, they moved to 6-4 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Eunice didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-1 victory against West Feliciana on the 27th. As for Westlake, they have also already played their next game, a 10-3 win against Cecilia on the 27th.
