Konos Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Preston Thornton, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Ben Swann was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Konos Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for New Creation Christian Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-8.
