The Nueva School is 8-2 against Summit Preparatory since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Nueva School Mavericks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Summit Preparatory Huskies at 7:00 p.m. The Nueva School has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
The Nueva School can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They blew past Pescadero, posting a 73-36 win on the road. The victory was just what The Nueva School needed coming off of a 95-69 defeat in their prior matchup.
The Nueva School's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabe Ciechanover, who scored 23 points. Ciechanover has been hot recently, having posted 23 or more points the last three times he's played. Tammer Maraqa was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Summit Preparatory played against Kehillah and lost via forfeit.
The Nueva School's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Summit Preparatory, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
