The Denver West Cowboys will venture away from home to  face off against the Conifer Lobos  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
 Denver West lost  17-5 to Jefferson on Saturday. The Cowboys have struggled against the Saints recently, as their  contest on Saturday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
  Alesha Munoz-Sturgeon was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was  Nancy Vargas Martin, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Meanwhile, Conifer put another one in the bag  on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Thomas Jefferson  a   14-0 shutout.
  Jesse Nichols made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Nichols was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with a  triple, two  RBI, and a  run.
 In other batting news,  Finley Johnson was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  triples, four  RBI, and a  run. Another player making a difference was  Bella Alley, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Conifer  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 11  strikeouts. That's the most  strikeouts they've posted since  back in September of 2023.
 Denver West's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Conifer, their win was  their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-0.
