The Tempe Prep Knights can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Santa Cruz Valley 46-16 at home. Tempe Prep's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Tempe Prep's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Santa Cruz Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Horizon Honors the next time they take the court. Santa Cruz Valley will host Horizon Honors at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Tempe Prep will host them at 5:30 p.m. on January 16th.
