The victory was a breath of fresh air for Southern Huntingdon County as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Northern Bedford County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wesley Horsh, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nathan Eckenroad, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Southern Huntingdon County's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Northern Bedford County, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Huntingdon County will take on Claysburg-Kimmel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northern Bedford County, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against West Branch at 4:00 p.m. West Branch has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,100 points over their last 14 contests.
