Berlin led Central Connecticut III East in scoring this week after putting up 41 points on Tolland. Mitch Williams threw for 171 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 30 yards during the win.
The Redcoats made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,176 from 7,414. The improvement was the result of a 41-6 victory over the Eagles last week.
Berlin's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Anthony Sisti chipped in 61 yards. Jacob Eliades helped Berlin's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 59 yards.
Sisti was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 61 yards on 5 carries as John Capodice's team topped Tolland. Dan McLeod also contributed to the rushing game with 56 yards on the ground.
The Redcoats' Williams and Eliades led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Williams has thrown for 347 yards this season, while Eliades, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 10 catches for 165 yards. Platt's TYZHAN LEATHERWOOD leads the league in rushing yards with 220.
The Eagles are currently in fourth, while the Panthers are in first.
