East Robertson's hitters rose to the challenge against a Buccaneers pitching crew that boasted an average of only 3.64 runs allowed on Thursday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the University School Buccaneers. Considering the Indians have won 16 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

East Robertson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for University School, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 27-9 record.

Coincidentally, East Robertson and University School will both be playing Eagleville the next time they take the field. The Buccaneers will host the Eagles on Thursday, while the Indians will head out to face them on Friday.
