Elias Johnson Delivers Best Effort of Season
Saguaro was led to victory by Elias Johnson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Johnson rushed for 201 yards while picking up 11.2 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 58 yards.
Saguaro moved to 1-6 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak. Johnson and Saguaro will be playing in front of their home fans against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
