The Edinburgh Lancers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 72-54 victory over Morristown. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Edinburgh.
Connor Ramey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 30 points and nine assists. Eli Smith was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Several Yellow Jackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cade Mahin, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Mcmichael, who scored ten points.
Edinburgh now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Morristown, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Edinburgh will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Franklin County is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Morristown, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on January 27th. New Castle presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Yellow Jackets in Indiana (the Trojans are ranked 147th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 420th).
