The Patrician Academy Saints stacked a third blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sparta Academy 59-31 on the road. The squad ran away with 49 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
Sparta Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brodie Fowler, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fowler has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Cook, who scored 11 points.
The victory was the third in a row for Patrician Academy, bringing their record for this year to 3-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29 points. As for Sparta Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.
Patrician Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sparta Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Jackson Academy at 7:00 p.m. Jackson Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
