Brentwood is 1-9 against Windsor Academy since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Brentwood War Eagles will host the Windsor Academy Knights at 6:00 p.m. Brentwood will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
Brentwood is headed into the matchup having just posted their biggest win since December 17, 2024 on Saturday. They blew past Thomas Jefferson Academy 67-40. The War Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 27 points or more this season.
Brentwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tristan Robinson led the charge by putting up 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khaden Walker, who posted 12 points.
Meanwhile, Windsor Academy took their contest on Saturday with ease, bagging an 84-51 victory over Covenant Academy.
Brentwood better keep an eye on Jeff Denny. He was instrumental in Windsor Academy's win, going 10 of 16 from beyond the arc on his way to 35 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Swain, who put up 12 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals.
Windsor Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Covenant Academy only racked up eight assists.
Brentwood's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Windsor Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Brentwood and Windsor Academy are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Brentwood hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 64.3 points per game. However, it's not like Windsor Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 58.5 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Brentwood skirted past Windsor Academy 55-52 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Does Brentwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Windsor Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
