Volleyball Recap: Johnsburg Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Johnsburg waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Harvard Hornets by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Johnsburg easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8.

Kaia Sasak paced Johnsburg's offense, picking up six kills. Sasak got some help from Emily Loud and her 18 assists. Maddie Mays controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Johnsburg's victory bumped their record up to 21-13. As for Harvard, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-23 record this season.

Johnsburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Harvest-Westminster on the 23rd. Harvard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
