The Warren County Wildcats will take on the Brentsville District Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Warren County: they have been struggling with 11 straight losses at home dating back to last season, while Brentsville District has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
Warren County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs last Monday, they were much more limited against Meridian last Tuesday. They fell 7-2 to the Mustangs.

Warren County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Lamendola, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Lamendola has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
Meanwhile, Brentsville District won against Millbrook on Thursday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Tigers walked away with a 7-4 win over Skyline.
Austyn Blankenship spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits.
On the hitting side, Kate Search and McKenzie Kolesar did most of the damage at the plate: Search went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Kolesar went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI Kolesar has posted since back in April of 2024. Natalie Marvin was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Warren County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Brentsville District, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Warren County has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Brentsville District struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Warren County might still be hurting after the 12-3 loss they got from Brentsville District in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Wildcats have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
