The Trinity Christian Lions are on the road again on Friday and play against the Grace Prep Lions at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Hopefully Trinity Christian is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Grace Prep in Texas (Trinity Christian is ranked 273rd, while Grace Prep is ranked 729th).
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-7, which was the final score in Trinity Christian's tilt against Liberty Christian two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, with a playoff game on the line, Grace Prep rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 37-13 margin over Brook Hill. Grace Prep might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four contests by 22 points or more this season.
Grace Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaden Lehew, who rushed for 219 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Lehew's longest rush was for an incredible 93 yards. Another player making a difference was Bryce Prince, who rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown.
Liberty Christian's victory bumped their season record to 11-0 while Trinity Christian's defeat dropped theirs to 8-2.
Trinity Christian won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in October, slipping by Grace Prep 13-12. Will Trinity Christian repeat their success, or does Grace Prep have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
