The Alak Huskies lost to the Kali Wolverines on Friday, but the Alak Huskies didn't allow the Kali Wolverines the same satisfaction on Saturday. Alak walked away with a 44-35 victory over Kali.
It was another big night for Nicole Nayakik, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessica Tagarook, who scored nine points.
Alak's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Kali, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Alak the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Nuiqsut Trapper at 2:30 p.m. on January 20th. Kali does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
