The Nebraska School Activities Association football playoffs will soon be underway.
The championship game for Class D6 (6-Man) is scheduled for Nov. 22 while state title games in Classes B, D1 (8-Man) and D2 (8-Man) will be determined Nov. 25. Finalists in Classes A, C1 and C2 will compete for state championship hardware on Nov. 26.
Memorial Stadium, home of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, will serve as the host site for state championship finals in Classes A, B, C1, C2, D1 and D2. Finalists in the D6 state title contest will do battle at Cope Stadium in Kearney.
Champions in 2018 include Omaha Burke (A), Omaha Skutt Catholic (B), Aurora (C1), Centennial (C2), Creighton (D1), Johnson-Brock (D2) and Wilcox-Hildreth (D6).
