The Mountain Crest Mustangs are ranked highly in their home state, and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the Twin Falls Bruins. Mountain Crest came out on top against Twin Falls by a score of 54-42. The win was familiar territory for Mountain Crest who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for Kaden Hess, who scored 22 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. The match was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. Rigdon Anderson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 7 rebounds.
Mountain Crest has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 5-1 record. As for Twin Falls, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain Crest will square off against Roy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Roy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday. Twin Falls is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Wood River at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Wood River is ranked seventh, while Twin Falls is ranked 20th).
