The Tradition Prep Pirates lost against the Morningside Academy Eagles last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Tradition Prep was dealt a 50-18 loss at the hands of Morningside Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Tradition Prep has scored all season.
Morningside Academy found their leader in underclassman Arianna Wallace, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wallace has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Emmilina Miller, who scored five points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Tradition Prep has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Morningside Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tradition Prep will take on Master's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Master's Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Saturday. As for Morningside Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
