The First Baptist Academy Lions had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Seacrest Country Day on Friday and snuck past 2-1. The win was nothing new for First Baptist Academy as they're now sitting on six straight.
First Baptist Academy pushed their record up to 13-5-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those five matchups. As for Seacrest Country Day, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7-2.
First Baptist Academy will head out on the road to square off against Shorecrest Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Seacrest Country Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
