The Horizon Christian Hawks will head out on the road to take on the Catlin Gabel Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
Horizon Christian pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 69-61 to Oregon Episcopal.
Meanwhile, Catlin Gabel also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Portland Adventist Academy by a score of 57-47.
Horizon Christian's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-8. As for Catlin Gabel, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Horizon Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-40 loss to Catlin Gabel in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Horizon Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
