Severance has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road  on Tuesday. They will  square off against the Riverdale Ridge Ravens  at 12:00  p.m. Severance will be strutting in after a  victory while Riverdale Ridge will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Even though Pueblo South scored an imposing 58 points on Saturday, Severance still came out on top. In a tight  contest that could have gone either way, Severance made off with a  59-58 win over Pueblo South. Winning is a bit easier when  you outrebound your opponent 10 to 3 on the offensive boards, as Severance did.
 Severance's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Jaden Hoffman, who  scored 20 points along with 6  rebounds, and   Brady Varney, who  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and 17  rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which  Varney has scored at least 25% of Severance's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Damarii Wright, who  scored 4 points along with 5  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Riverdale Ridge pushed their score all the way to 60 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. Their  tough  82-60 defeat to Palmer  might stick with them for a while.
 Despite the  defeat, Riverdale Ridge had strong showings from  Marcus D mcfadden, who  scored 19 points along with 5  rebounds, and  Marcus Hinh, who  scored 17 points along with 3  steals. The  matchup was  D mcfadden's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Dylan Nieto, who  scored 8 points.
 Severance's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Riverdale Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
 Severance was able to grind out a solid  victory over Riverdale Ridge in their previous matchup  back in January, winning  78-71. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Riverdale Ridge's  Ryan Leopold, who  scored 24 points.
