Basketball Recap: Schenck Makes It 14 in a Row on the Road

Schenck won the last time they faced Dexter and things went their way on Monday too. Everything went the Schenck Wolverines' way against the Dexter Tigers as the Schenck Wolverines made off with a 51-29 win. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Ethan Doherty and Kody Kimball certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Doherty almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards, while Kimball posted eight points and eight rebounds.

Schenck's victory was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Dexter, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Schenck will venture away from home to square off against Bangor Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Bangor Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Schenck surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dexter, they will head out to take on Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
