Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Red Rock). They enjoyed a cozy 64-46 victory over the BASIS Phoenix Firebirds on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Scorpions as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Red Rock's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-7. As for BASIS Phoenix, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Red Rock will face off against Madison Highland Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for BASIS Phoenix, they will venture away from home to square off against Phoenix Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. BASIS Phoenix is facing Phoenix Christian at the right time seeing as Phoenix Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
