After a string of three wins, the Southington Blue Knights's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They took a  52-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Glastonbury. Southington has not had much luck with Glastonbury recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
 Southington's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Lily Cooper, who  scored 16 points along with two  steals. Cooper has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last ten times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Hannah Blanchard, who  scored ten points along with five  rebounds and four  steals.
 Southington's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Glastonbury, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with that  victory, which was their third straight  at home.
 Southington will take on Berlin at 6:45  p.m.  on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Connecticut (Berlin is ranked 32nd, while Southington is ranked 39th). As for Glastonbury, they will head out on the road to  take on  Enfield at 6:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Enfield is coming into the  game on a four-game losing streak.
