After a string of four wins, the Oktaha Tigers's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 62-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wright City. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Kase Lindly was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with eight rebounds and five steals for Wright City. That makes it five consecutive games in which Lindly has scored at least 25% of Wright City's points. Conner Green was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Oktaha's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3. As for Wright City, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Oktaha will be playing at home against Okay at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wright City and Haworth will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Haworth will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Wright City is ranked 91st).
