After flying high against the Buckley Griffins on Monday, the Provo Bulldogs came back down to earth. Provo fell 60-51 to Monsignor Scanlan on Tuesday.
Defeat or not, Provo got some senior leadership from Jason Carter who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks and Aaron Castagnetto who scored 20 points. The game was Carter's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Soakai Aston, who scored no points along with five assists.
Provo's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Monsignor Scanlan, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Provo and Hug will face off at 1:30 p.m. on December 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hug will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
