Broderick Vehrs Dazzles in Basha Win
Starting off the list is Basha's Broderick Vehrs, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Vehrs threw for 266 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.
Basha pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Vehrs and Basha will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Chandler at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Gio Richardson Turns in Season-Best Effort
Basha was led to victory by Gio Richardson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Richardson picked up 172 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The performance also marked the most rushing yards (11) he has had since back in October of 2023. His longest reception was for an incredible 89 yards.
Unfortunately for Hamilton, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Richardson. When Richardson last faced the Huskies back in October of 2023, he picked up 151 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Big Game from Palmer As Casteel Won 40-37
Paul Palmer was instrumental in extending Casteel's winning streak to three on Friday. Nobody could stop Palmer as he threw for 211 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 31 yards.
Palmer is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Chandler on Friday. Palmer rushed for 58 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 199 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Wolves duked it out back in September of 2023.

Lucero Jr. Made His Presence Known in Hamilton's 35-20 Loss
Rich Lucero Jr. put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 143 yards and a touchdown.
Hamilton moved to 5-1 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak. Lucero Jr. and Hamilton will square off against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Porter Delnoce Makes It Two for Casteel
The second Casteel player making an appearance here is Porter Delnoce, and for good reason. He made 13 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Perry's probably not too fond of Delnoce given he always seems to get the better of them. When Delnoce last faced the Pumas back in October of 2023, he picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
