Meanwhile, Perryville didn't have too much trouble with Newport at home on Friday as they won 26-12.
Magnet Cove's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4. As for Perryville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
