Baseball Recap: Midway Comes Up Short

Midway blew Jasper out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Jasper got their revenge. The Vikings fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 4-2. The Vikings were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Eagles' pitchers proved too tough.

With the defeat, Midway broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3. As for Jasper, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.
