Anthony scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Kermit Yellow Jackets by a score of 16-14. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (11), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Anthony's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-12-1. As for Kermit, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Coincidentally, Anthony and Kermit will both be playing Presidio the next time they take the field. Kermit will head out to face Presidio at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Anthony will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
