The St. Francis Indian Warriors's game  last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They skirted past Todd County  59-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
 Leading St. Francis Indian to victory were  John Gunhammer and  Ty Valandra-Fast Horse.  Gunhammer  scored 17 points, while  Valandra-Fast Horse  scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Valandra-Fast Horse has scored all season.  Ethan Spotted Tail was another key contributor,  scoring nine points.
 St. Francis Indian's victory  ended a three-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 5-3. As for Todd County, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-7.
 St. Francis Indian will stay at home for another  game and welcome White River at 7:30  p.m.  on January 18th. As for Todd County, they will head out on the road to  take on  Cheyenne-Eagle Butte at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 256 points over their last four matchups.
